Accesss compassionate pregnancy care dedicated to the LGBTIQ+ Takatāpui community from Arlene
A service informed by and created with the needs of the LGBTIQ+ Takatāpui community at the centre of what we do. A service that our community needs and wants.
Pregnancy is so often centred within the heteronormative rhetoric that it can feel daunting entering into the world of childbirth. I appreciate the nuances of being part of the queer community and the understanding required to feel supported, safe and cared for with compassion and kindness.
I aim to empower you and your growing whānau in enabling you to make informed decisions about your care, underpinned by evidence based research. I'm excited to support you and your whānau, however that may be, with whoever that may be.
I hold my antenatal clinic in Ponsonby, on Mondays and Thursdays. It is paramount to offer a clinic away from the usual heteronormative, medical and maternity orientated spaces.
You can view my profile on the NZCOM website.
If you'd like to get in touch with me about caring for you, please email me with some information about yourself and your family.
I look forward to meeting you and helping you bring your tiny human earth side!
